LANGEAIS |

Langeais was originally a medieval fortress. It is rather difficult to express the feelings that visitors may have when visiting Langeais for the first time. Langeais recalls the Middle Ages with its outstanding tapestry collection, furniture, large fireplaces. We sometimes have the impression that time had stopped in the late 15th century. After all, did not that occur in winter 1491 on the occasion of the marriage of Charles VIII and Anne of Brittany which took place in the most extensive hall of the castle ?
